Why Should You Go Green? There are a lot of reasons why you should make the green switch. Mother Earth should be one of them. But if you’re not so much of an environment gung-ho, check out the following perks:

If you already have a bundle of furry joy with you, make sure he’s spayed or neutered to prevent unwanted breeding. Not only will you ensure that your pet lives a longer life by decreasing the chances he might develop cancer and prostate disease, you will also make a difference by ensuring that the homeless animal population stays at bay.

Cook for your pet! If you like to keep track of what your pet is eating and to make sure she gets all the nutrients she needs. There are a bunch of recipes you can follow using cheap but wholesome ingredients. This saves you money.

Use green pet grooming shampoos, soaps, flea treatments and even bath towels! Dont just stop there. Start using eco-friendly detergent and cleaning products too. Or if you want to save money, go all-natural. You’ll find that vinegar and baking soda can be your best friends. When all else fails, ask advice from mom. You won’t regret it.

Stop buying your pet toys and start crafting them yourself! The possibilities are endless. Instead of throwing away those old cardboard boxes or tennis balls, find a way to turn them into playthings for your happy little green pet. Just make sure the the materials and items you use do not contain anything that could potentially harm your pet.
