My book club is on Thursday nights. My friend has more problems than I ever imagined. One of the horse’s offspring, who adored her mother, had equine depression because of the older horse’s condition. Nancy’s problems were too much to handle. What would you do if your equine couldn’t get up and walk? I have so many acquaintances and most of them have become special friends. Nancy, a very interesting lady, is my good friend. Nancy has been having some tough time with her horses lately. Nancy’s first horse, now old and suffering from a failing health It was taking her longer and longer to get up after she would lie down. Nothing would interest her. She has ceased eating. Euthanasia was one of the options according to Nancy but she couldn’t do it.
She was absent in many social functions so she can attend to her horses. According to veterinarian, her horses were a hopeless case. He recommended a place called Midwest Microcurrent. It was quite a long drive, three hours long, but it might be the only place that could help her. I called to check on Nancy that evening and she asked me to go to Midwest Microcurrent’s website and tell her what I thought of it. The web site is a wealth of information So I told Nancy to give it a try.
The website made it seem like their Alpha-Stim machine was a miracle worker. People and animals can use it. Attach the wires here and there and that’s it. The machine emits some micro electrical currents and different wavelengths along the wires to a location on the horse’s body which will benefit the most. Some wires are attached to the ears using a clip. Others are attached by a sticky pad with electrodes in them, stuck to the shaved area on the body, where it’s needed most. Another option to use the machine is to use probes and position them against the body. By performing this, these electrical impulses are directed to the parts of the body that needs a balance in its electrical system. The horses will be put in a relaxed mode. The machine alleviates horse depression, old age, OCD, insomnia, arthritis, surgical incisions, open wounds, pain and other illnesses.
The very next day Nancy and her husband loaded the horses in the trailer and headed out. They came back that night with a machine and two horses who were already feeling better. The horses’ condition improved after using the cranial electrotherapy at home. Although it’s only been a short while, both horses are doing wonderfully.
The mother horse has reverted to her old ways.
